Today’s note is short because I made a video that better describes what I’m hoping you’ll learn. It’s hard to figure out what to do from one day to the next for your business. What can make that much easier is mapping out your overall business structure, which I show you in a short video here:

The idea is simple. First you want to have a place for people to “land” (a landing page). That could be your home page, but more often than not it should be something else.
A home page is a great “face” of your company, but if you sell lawn and garden equipment and your newspaper ad is for your Toro lawnmowers, wouldn’t it be nice to direct customers to the Toro section of your website? That would be the landing page.
Then you need to know what people will do when they get there. (watch the video for that) And flush out all the options the people have – until you’ve gotten them to where you want them to go, or until you have them doing what you want them to do.
Check out the video and let me know your thoughts there. http://lettersfromdan.com/consumer-buying-process-strategy/
